Now that i have signed up with Google Bloger, perhaps this will let me leave a comment. Or even make an entry. This is only a test...

It worked! Thanks Larry.
Now to business:
What design of anchor works best in LC? I expect to "cove camp" here and there, now and then and would like to know people's opinions. Does anyone have experience with the Digger? How about the Manta Claw? Lotte doesn't want to carry a Danforth in her hawse pipes 'cuz they're ugly and we're wary of navy style as they have a "won't hold" reputation. Anyone got some words for me?
Lotte (Howard)
Given that the Zebras have clarified the water column such that there seems to be prolific bottom weed growth in most coves, West Marine's testing indicates that a single point plow anchor works well, of which they like the Rocna 15. Other testing was reported in the now defunct Powerboat Reports, but my copies are hidden from me at the moment.
Plz tell this threat what you decide to do and how it works out.
I am being consumed by insurance hassles in CA. Seems that the yards won't haul Lotte for a fastener survey until she has insurance and the insurers won't insure her until the survey is done. Please have a look at my blog and offer suggestions if you can think of any. If this can't be resolved, Lotte will stay in CA.
